I'm a resident of the Teacher Leadership M.Ed. Program at High Tech High’s Graduate School of Education and an inclusion support teacher at High Tech Elementary in Chula Vista. I earned a B.A. in Dramatic Art from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where I developed a keen interest in educational theater and theater for social change. In 2008, I joined Teach for America and taught fifth grade for two years in Camden, NJ. After fulfilling a lifelong ambition to travel around the world, I returned to Chapel Hill, working with a special education team and co-directing an interactive theater troupe at UNC. Eager to deepen my practice and advance progressive education reform, I’m thrilled to join the HTH community and design rich learning experiences for children.
