The HTe Family-Faculty Book Club
The HTe Family-Faculty Book Club is open to families and staff of HTe students. We read new and classic works about children's development, and then discuss how we can apply the lessons we learn to support the children in our lives. We meet every other Thursday from 2:45-3:30pm at High Tech Elementary.

How to Talk So Kids Will Listen & Listen So Kids Will Talk by Adele Faber and Elaine Mazlish
This popular, practical text offers a multitude of strategies for fostering positive communication between adults and children. The authors present their ideas in an accessible way, through personal stories, written exercises, comic strips, checklists, and question-and-answer sections.
